Hi, I’m Julia! I grew up in Ottawa, where my love for movement and curiosity about the body began early through sport. I started playing competitive soccer at eight years old and continued at the NCAA Division I level in the U.S. while earning my Bachelor’s in Exercise, Sport, and Health Sciences. I later returned to Canada to complete my Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of Western Ontario. My experiences with my own injuries, and supporting teammates and patients through theirs, gave me a deep understanding of how injuries affect both body and mind. These experiences have shaped my commitment to providing holistic care that addresses the whole person. I take a collaborative approach, working with you to understand your goals and the factors influencing your pain and function. Through education, movement programs, and manual therapy, I aim to help you feel confident in your body and achieve your mobility and health goals. Outside of the clinic, you will find me enjoying the outdoors, playing/watching sports, attending live music events, and puzzling!

Growing up in the Kemptville area Eilish was always involved and interested in farming and agriculture. Being an equestrian all her life, Eilish had an interest in the relationship between a horse’s performance and their body mechanics. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Animal Science, from Dalhousie University in 2018. Following this, Eilish worked at a therapeutic riding facility and observed the benefit of motion from riding, not just physically, but also mentally for the riders.

With these experiences Eilish wanted to learn more about how the body functions as a unit as well as the benefit of motion on all systems of the body and she went on to graduate with a Master of Osteopathic Manipulative Science (MOMSC) from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.

Following the principles of Osteopathic Manual Therapy, Eilish observes and considers the relationship between the structure and function of the body and works with individuals to improve range of motion, which benefits all systems of the body.

In her spare time, Eilish enjoys spending time with her horse and taking pictures of her chickens.
