Dr. Laura Custode is passionate about helping people and believes that empowering her patients to understand their bodies and health is the foundation of lifelong wellness.
Dr. Custode graduated with First Class standing from Brock University in 2014 with an Honours Bachelor degree in Kinesiology. She went on to graduate from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, and also became certified in Functional Integrated Acupuncture in 2018. She provided care to the Niagara Region until relocating to Ottawa in 2022.

Taryn Forrester

Taryn is a graduate of Massage Therapy from Algonquin College. Her goal as a RMT is to use her extensive knowledge of human anatomy and hands on skills to aid each client in their journey to a pain free lifestyle. As an avid long-distance runner and competitive soccer player, Taryn has a very personal understanding of the demands sport has on the human body. Taryn’s treatments consist of deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, releasing myofascial tension and joint mobilizations. Educating each client on the rehabilitation and recovery process is a very important element to her massage therapy treatments. She is very dedicated and passionate about helping each client reach their optimum physical and mental health potential. Arman Ghaltaei
Arman graduated from the Master of Science in Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto, where he received the Ontario Graduate Scholarship in recognition of his academic excellence. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor Degree with specialization in Human Kinetics, graduating with honours from the University of Ottawa where he also was a member of the GeeGees Men’s soccer team. Arman holds a strong interest in treating orthopaedic injuries relating to both sport and daily life. To better serve his clients and the community, he has sought further education through the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Program, and has completed his level 3 certifications. He has also taken courses in running evaluation and treatment through the RunningClinic, and is able to treat vestibular disorders and vertigo. He emphasizes a tailored treatment approach by listening empathetically in order to understand each client’s unique goals. Arman’s treatments consist of a combination of manual therapy, dry needling (including Gunn IMS), individualized exercise prescription, and education to help clients return to participating in the activities that are most meaningful to them. Having grown up in Ottawa as an active member in the local soccer community, Arman acted as a team coach during his Bachelor Degree where he helped support the development of various local youth players. More recently, he has worked with local soccer clubs and the Ontario Soccer Association providing on-field coverage for Provincial Level games, and in 2021 he worked as a physiotherapist for the Atletico Ottawa soccer team, helping the team stay game-ready during their season. Marcus Leung
Marcus is a graduate from Queen’s University, earning a Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Physical and Health Education. He then received his massage therapy diploma from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy.
With a lifelong interest in physical activity, Marcus has experienced and competed in many sports throughout his schooling career. He eventually put his focus into coaching and competing in the sport of weightlifting and CrossFit.
Marcus believes in working with the patient to achieve their specific goal which is reflected by his very active and movement based soft-tissue manual techniques. He takes particular interest in improving soft tissue capacity and range of motion to better suit the patients’ everyday demands. His treatment style incorporates Swedish massage techniques, specific deep tissue massages, trigger point techniques, lymphatic drainage work, cupping modality, graston/scraping techniques and is well versed in pre/postnatal treatments. My passion for physiotherapy began as a young soccer player, inspired by my mother—an incredible physiotherapist who helped my teammates and I recover from injuries and reach our full potential. Raphael was inspired to become a physiotherapist at a very young age. He received his Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa after completing his Bachelors in Human Kinetics there as well.
